The Senator representing Kwara Central, Saliu Mustapha, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Fadilatul-Sheikh Alhaji Hassan Kad’riyyah, the Chief Imam of the Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria, who died in the early hours of Saturday, October 4, 2025.
In a condolence message issued in Ilorin, Senator Mustapha described the late cleric as a revered Islamic scholar whose life was dedicated to the propagation of Islam, moral uprightness, and service to humanity.
He noted that Sheikh Kad’riyyah’s demise is a great loss not only to the Ansarul Islam Society but also to the entire Muslim Ummah in Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
Senator Mustapha prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and comfort his family members, followers, and the Muslim community.
